Honestly, I haven’t always liked some of Nicole's selections this year, but overall she has been flawless. In most occasions she knows what looks best on her. Miss Richie can wear almost anything and make it look good. I made a collage with her best outfits this year, in my opinion, of course.

Nicole was seen buying pizza with Joel on December 23, wearing a stylishly simple outfit consisting of a black blazer, black top, leggings, Lanvin flats and her Chanel bag. Of course, she finished off her look with oversized sunglasses and a scarf.

Joel and his brother have announced that they are adding a baby line to their DCMA Collective range. Joel said:
"I was inspired to make baby clothes because I’m excited to share something I love with my kid. I think it would be really awesome for me and the baby to dress alike."

Nicole shopping for baby clothes

Nicole wa spotted shopping for baby clothes at the Grove shopping mall in West Hollywood, California. She wears a cozy looking outfit consisting of a black woolen coat, leggings, Tara Subkoff boots, a white tee and a long yellow scarf. Nicole accessorized with a black headscarf and Ray Bans. Mom-to-be is carrying her Hermes Birkin handbag.

Nicole was seen leaving Ralphs with a Butterfinger candy bar in hand and the latest issue of Vogue in her Hermes Birkin handbag. Miss Richie was wearing a black warm coat, a v-neck shirt, leggings, Livs Tall Crochet boots in black and a red beret.

Nicole was seen going to Neil George salon on December 7, wearing an asymmetrical sweater dress with black leggings and knee high Christian Louboutin boots. She finished her look with big shades and a red beret that looks tres chic on her.

"In October, Nicole and Joel traveled across Australia as Joel toured with his band, Good Charlotte. While in Western Australia, Nicole visited the oncology unit at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. On the day of her visit, 14 year old Stephen (pictured in the center photo) — a huge Good Charlotte fan — received word from his doctor that his blood cell count was too low to attend the concert that evening and risk an infection. Instead, Nicole invited Stephen to join her backstage, where they watched the concert together and Stephen met the band after the show."

Nicole at Richie-Madden Children's Foundation event

The couple Richie-Madden hosted a surprise baby shower on December 3 for 100 expectant and new moms at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood, where they handed out more than $200,000 worth of gifts. "The looks on their faces were priceless," Nicole told reporters after the shower.
Wearing a long dress, simple but chic with a black leather jacket and a Chanel cuff, mom-to-be looks wonderful.

Nicole was spotted out to dinner with Lauren Conrad at Casa Verda in Burbank, California on Friday, November 30th. She is carrying a Balenciaga Classique bag in indigo.

In the past, Nicole attributed her weight loss to the pressures of fame, as well as plenty of exercise, adding: 'I have days where I'm up at 4.30 and still filming at 11pm - I'll squeeze in a workout when I have time, but I don't do cardio - I don't need to, I'm too thin. And I eat what ever I feel like - sandwiches, whatever.' Nicole confirmed in early August that she was four months pregnant, which has already helped her to gain some much-needed weight and look far healthier.

Nicole and Joel can't settle on a name

Their baby’s a month away, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden still can’t settle on a name.

“[Joel and I] can’t agree on one,” Richie, 26, told Access Hollywood in an two-part interview that began Tuesday.

“I figure I’ll be in the hospital for at least a day, so I’ll figure it out then,” she said.

It might be tough, though: Richie said they still do not know the baby’s sex. “We’re waiting to find out, which has been a lot harder on me than it has on Joel because I’m so nosy,” she said. “If he wasn’t at every doctor’s appointment, I probably would have found out by now just behind his back and not told him.”

Boy or girl, she expects her child will not be anything like her or Madden, 28. “They’re going to be so embarrassed of Joel’s tattoos and my tattoos, because I have nine, because you never want to like your parents,” she said.

So what’s the toughest part of being pregnant? Giving up sushi, she said. “It’s my favorite food,” she said. “I was going maybe four or five nights a week.”

Richie, who has been dating her the Good Charlotte rocker since last December, also revealed that they’ll tie the knot “eventually,” but likely not anytime this year.

“Well, look how much has happened this year,” Richie added. “I mean, just let me rest a bit, you know. I gotta hold something for when I get older. I can’t have everything happen all in one year."
