Nicole Richie debuts her jewelry line
Nicole's jewelry collection will debut in the brand new Kitson on Melrose when it opens in November and on shopkitson.com. The collection called House of Harlow 1960 was designed in partnership with Mouawad Jewelry and Pascal Mouawad and includes cocktail rings, cuffs, headpieces, all influenced by Nicole’s love of the 60s and 70s. Retail prices start at 50$.
Nicole driving herself to traffic school
For the first time since she began her alcohol education program Nicole drove herself to school yesterday, September 24. So exciting to see her driving again!

Hi Everyone,
This past year, philanthropy has opened my eyes to so much need and so much beauty. I have also realized how easy it is to help, and how rewarding it feels to be able to make a positive difference in someone's life.
Last week, my friend Carlos and I brought a video camera to Beyond Shelter. Just the two of us. There are 175 children with families here, most of whom have been homeless at some point.
Today, they play in a concrete courtyard. Because of the neighborhood they live in, they have nowhere else to play. I met a woman who has ten children living in a three-bedroom apartment. The Beyond Shelter rec room only allows ten kids at a time. I wish you could all go there with me and see.
I'd like to share with you a glimpse of these beautiful children through my eyes.

Nicole Richie "is in shock" after her ex fiance DJ AM and pal Travis Barker were critically injured in a jet crash upon takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina, airport after midnight Friday. Four people - including Barker’s assistant - were killed. "She wishes only the best for Adam and hopes he recovers from this,' a pal tells Usmagazine.com. "She’s horribly upset about the people who died."

Nicole Richie has revealed her eight-month-old daughter has uttered her first words.
The socialite and fiancé Joel Madden had Harlow in January.
And they're amazed how quickly she’s growing up.
"She says “mama” and “dada"," Joel, 29, says.
"She says “dada” when she wants to play. Wants to laugh. And “mama” is everything else."
"When we walk into a place, she waves to everyone."
Nicole, 26, is determined not to shelter her from the paparazzi.
"My priority is to make her unaware," she tells Extra. "She's eight months now."
"I can't put her in the infant seat and cover her. She'd definitely know something's going on.
She wants to experience life and, as a mother, that's important."

Nicole in Star magazine
According to Star magazine Nicole Richie flipped out when she heard that Joel was hanging out with Mischa Barton. Star claims Nicole and Joel's relashionship isn’t over, but Nicole needs things to change.
I don't believe this because they have made the same story with Mary Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan.
For months they'd been fighting over everything from marriage to moving, but Nicole and Joel's strained relationship hit a new low when, during yet another battle, she screamed at him, "We're through," and fled to her mother's home, taking their daughter, Harlow, with her, a friend tells Star. Although Nicole returned the next day, "This was her way of sending Joel a message," says the pal. "Nicole loves him, but things need to change." Days after their big blowup, things were no better, so Nicole once again walked out on Joel - jetting to New York City, with Harlow in tow, for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She wasn't alone for long. Joel followed her to the Big Apple, and the quarrelsome couple made a brief yet disastrous appearance at the Charlotte Ronson afterparty at Country Club on Sept. 6. "She was just in a miserable mood, and there was obvious tension," an eyewitness tells Star. "I didn't see her talk to Joel the entire night, and it seemed like he was avoiding her too. Nicole was just so angry!"
