According to people.com Nicole was spotted out at a restaurant on Sunday, but I highly doubt that the photo is new because she wore the same outfit including the bag at the March of Dimes, on October 21.

Nicole Richie wrote a blog post on her website to apologize for missing a few scheduled appearances - the Bebe-House of Harlow 1960 launch party and the Holt-Renfrew Calgary opening. So sweet, that's why I like her so much.

I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks. I wish I could have been there for the Bebe-House of Harlow 1960 evening. I was truly looking forward to meeting everyone there and sharing that moment and capsule collection with you. I am also disappointed I wasn’t able to attend the Holt-Renfrew Calgary opening. I heard the store looks beautiful and Holt has been such an amazing partner over the past year. I will definitely be back in the Spring when Winter Kate launches.
Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving.

Nicole Richie in Grazia, Australia

In today's Grazia magazine their headline story is that Nicole Richie married in mid-October in the garden of her father's Beverly Hills home.
It was a world away from the lavish wedding with hundreds of guests and million-dollar magazine deal that she’d once planned for her big day.
But the intimate ceremony that actually took place, with just her family and closest friends present (and sworn to secrecy), reflects Nicole Richie’s new approach to life.
As Grazia can reveal, Nicole, 28, and her boyfriend of three years, Joel Madden, 30, married in mid-October in the garden of her father Lionel’s Beverly Hills home.
A friend of the reality show star turned design mogul says: “A few years back we were talking about weddings and Nicole said she wanted hers to be massive, with 250 guests, turtle doves being released and every extravagance possible. But she’s changed so much since meeting Joel and having children – and realised what she wanted was a small ceremony that was about them and their family.
“Lionel made a little speech after the ceremony and joked that he’d been dreading her original plan because as father of the bride he’d be expected to foot the bill, and that the new Nicole was much more to his liking.”
Having given birth to son Sparrow a few weeks earlier, on September 9, Nicole wore a flowing cream shift dress she had designed herself and flowers in her hair, which she wore loose.
The couple wrote their own vows, which they exchanged in front of the celebrant with about 20 close relatives and friends present.
Joel had Sparrow in his arms and Nicole held their 22-month-old daughter Harlow’s hand as they exchanged rings.
“The wedding was legal, but for Nicole and Joel it was more about making a commitment to each other,” says a friend. “Whenever people ask her about whether they are married or not, she just smiles and says, ‘We’re committed to each other’ because that’s what the ceremony was all about.
“Their rings are more like eternity rings than wedding bands, because Nicole says she feels like she’s found her soulmate in Joel.”
But the couple's efforts to keep their wedding under wraps unravelled last week. In court to ask for a restraining order against two paparazzi, Nicole's lawyer repeatedly referred to her and Joel as husband and wife.

Nicole Richie's back home

Nicole Richie has checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after battling pneumonia and is at home resting, says her boyfriend Joel Madden.
"So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week," Madden wrote on his band's Web site on Friday. "But don't worry all is well and we are home with no problems."
I'm so glad to hear she is feeling better!

Nicole hospitalized for pneumonia

After complaining of feeling badly for days, Nicole Richie was hospitalized for pneumonia at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and was "doing well," her rep said Wednesday.
On Sunday, Richie, 28, said on her Twitter page that she had been battling illness, writing, "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving."
And the following day, at a court hearing to get restraining orders against two paparazzi, Richie appeared subdued and her lawyer indicated to the judge that she wasn't feeling well.
Last week the star's rep shot down Internet rumors that she was suffering from the swine flu.
I hope everything is ok.

Last week was the official launch party of Nicole Richie's new jewelry line House of Harlow 1960 for Bebe at the Rodeo Drive Bebe store. Sadly, she was too sick to attend the party.
She twittered:
"pain, pain go away. come again another day.... body aches = hell"
"I need a good movie to watch tonight. Been in bed for 4 days now, I'm running out of options. HELP!"
Nick Verreos was invited to Bebe and InStyle's launch of Nicole's jewelry line and posted some photos on his blog.
